Qualifications and Experience
Our Qualified Calibration Technicians have the following Qualifications and Experience:
- ESB trained, qualified electrician
- 25 years work experience as a qualified instrument technician with experience in calibration, process control and instrumentation
- Trained with the National Metrology Laboratory (NML). NML operates as a division of NSAI and is responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing the national measurement standards for physical quantities and their dissemination in Ireland. Training courses with NML included ‘Evaluating Measurement Uncertainty’ and ‘Electrical Measurement and Pressure Calibration’.
- Various other qualifications including training with City & Guilds (Instrumentation & Controls) and training with UKAS accredited laboratories in England.
Quality Policy
Powerpoint Engineering Ltd has been assessed by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), and complies with the provisions of the standard Quality Management System I.S. EN ISO 9001:2015.
In addition to this, all of our calibrations are carried out in accordance with ISO 10012:2013. Powerpoint Engineering Limited has been assessed and certified by the NSAI to conform with the provisions of the standard Measurement Management Systems to ISO 10012:2013.
